Annabelle Akintoye
Annabelle Akintoye is an InsurTech and innovation specialist with more than seven years of experience across M&A, strategy, and business operations, supporting global growth and transformation initiatives. A Forté Fellow in the IESE MBA Class of 2027, she is passionate about the technologies transforming how people play, connect, and compete.
Annabelle built much of her career at AXA, one of the world's largest insurers. She first served as Business Manager to the UK&I CEO, partnering directly with senior leadership to drive strategic planning and execution, before stepping into a Global Program Manager role where she led a high-impact transformation program and commercial growth initiatives at scale.
That insurance grounding sits on top of a strong consulting foundation: at PwC she was a Senior Associate in Deals Strategy & Operations covering technology, media, and telecoms, advising C-suite executives on value creation, P&L optimization, and market expansion. Earlier, at Vodafone Business, she delivered end-to-end strategic transformation programs and data-backed recommendations for the CEO and senior leadership — managing go-to-market strategies, organizational transformation, and sales performance analysis, and helping move roughly one million people globally to remote work during the company's rapid Covid-19 response. Her engineering background, including roles at Wood, gives her a structured, execution-focused approach to complex problems.
Beyond business, Annabelle is an international athlete who captains England in Box Lacrosse — experience that informs the leadership, discipline, and team-building she brings to every venture. She holds an MSc in Engineering Management from the University of York and a BEng in Chemical Engineering from Swansea University, and is a qualified Mental Health First Aider.
